After slaving away for 20 minutes, we've got a freshly redesigned page that doesn't look half bad either. In latest news with Elite Communications, we've had a few meetings with Mr. Andrew Conner of Downtown Terre Haute, he asked me the question of what it would take to get the project going and in action, I said all we needed was a place to set up gear, a location for the core network, and we can get started. He then passed the news that our project has approval, and he'll be working to get us a location for our core. We're shooting for the Old National Bank at the corners of 7th and Wabash right in the heart of downtown TH. We're only putting up 1 AP with a high gain omni-directional antenna for now, but soon, we'll locate 1 sector per corner of the building once we run into some more money. Also rural Shelburn, Indiana at Barcus Farms will be getting an amateur radio repeater, as well as a hotspot installed at this location as well. Service will be available off of this AP for $19.95/month. It will also include access to the DTH network.

Forums are coming soon as well, as well as Mibbit to link to our IRC chat. PersonalTelco out of Portland, Oregon has been a large wireless project much like ours, but theirs has gotten much farther. They've provided us with permission to use their IRC network, as well as some of their publications to help us get off of the ground. If you would like to join us:

More information to come soon, til then, leave us feedback, email, chat, whatever. Til next time, later. :)
